Punjab Blues outplayed Sindh Reds 6-0 in a one sided final of the Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
After two closely fought semifinals, an interesting final was expected.
But Punjab Blues excelling in all the departments of the game easily won by a tennis score.
Scorers: Sohail (2), Arsal Saleem (2), Shahbaz & Waqas Syed
Earlier, in the third position match Punjab Greens defeated Islamabad 3-0
Member National Assembly, Syeda Nafisa Shah, who was the chief guest, distributed the medals and prizes.

Punjab Blues will meet Sindh Reds in the final of the Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
Both the semifinals saw good hockey in well contested encounters.
In the first semifinal, Punjab Blues outlasted Punjab Greens 1-0
Arshad Liaquat scored the only goal of the match
In the second semifinal, Sindh Reds defeated Islamabad 2-0
Hammad & Sameer Akhtar were the scorers
Dr Nafisa Shah, Member of the National Assembly, will be the chief guest for the final.
Before the final, Punjab Greens and Islamabad will play each other for the third position.

It was the Quarter Finals’ day at the final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
Punjab Greens, Punjab Blues, Sindh Whites and Islamabad emerged victorious.
No less than three of the four quarter finals were decided on shootouts.
They were all very well contested games.

22-11-2017: Three of Punjab’s four teams were in action on the fourth day of the final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
Punjab Reds & Greens won their matches against Sindh Reds and KPK Reds respectively while Punjab Whites drew with Islamabad. KPK Greens and Sindh Whites were the other victorious sides.

Four Matches were played on the third day of the final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
The two home teams did well. Sindh Reds won their match against KPK Whites while the Greens drew against Punjab Blues.

20-11-2017: Islamabad’s Ayaz Ahmed stole the limelight on the second day of the final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships at the Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
Ayaz scored four goals in Islamabad’s 6-2 win over Sindh Whites.
Punjab Blues also had an easy sailing over FATA, winning 7-2
In the most well contested match of the day, KPK Greens overcame Sindh Greens 4-2

19-10-2017: The final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships commenced at Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur on Sunday.
Former Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who was the chief guest, declared
the event open in a colourful ceremony.
On the first day, three matches were played in front of a large crowd.
Match1: Punjab Greens defeated Baluchistan Greens 4-2
Match2: Punjab Whites defeated Sindh Whites 4-0
(Hammad scored three goals in tournament,s first hat trick)
Match3: In the last match, Sindh Greens trounced FATA 10-0
(Sameer Ahmed scored three goals)
Event Information:
The final round of the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s Under 16 Boys’ Schools National Hockey Championships will be played at Bakht Ali Dahot hockey stadium, Khairpur.
After conducting the under 16 schools hockey championships at district, regional and provincial levels, the final national round is scheduled from November 19 to 28.
Participating Sides:
Punjab- 4 teams, Sind- 3 teams, KPK- 3 teams, Baluchistan- 2 teams.
One team each from Islamabad, AJ&K, Gilgit-Baltistan & FATA Olympian Naveed Alam, PHF Director Development & Domestic, is the chief coordinator of the event.
For the smooth conduct of the championship, the PHF has appointed the following panel of officials:
