Hav Lalak Jan 9ners conjured up a nail-biting 5-4 victory over Naik Saif Ali Janjua 9ners in the international Nishan-i-Haider 9ners hockey tournament at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium here on Friday.

After suffering a 3-4 loss at the hands of Saif Ali Janjua 9ners in the penalty shootout, Lalak Jan 9ners romped home 2-0 to grab three points as against one earned by their opponents.

Adeel Latif, Shahzeb Ali, Hammad Anjum and Junaid Manzoor successfully scored one goal apiece as Awais Arshad missed in shootout for Saif Ali Janjua 9ners.

Lalak Jan 9ners could only score three goals through Naved Alam, Umair Sattar and Waqar Ali as Ghazanfar Ali and Afraz Hakeem faltered.
