PAKISTAN DEVELOPMENT SQUAD CLAIMS SERIES

The visiting Pakistan Development Squad rallied from two goals down to beat Oman 4-2 and clinch the five-Test hockey series 3-0 with the final match to be played on Friday.

Oman had drawn the opening Test 2-2 but lost the next three games. On Wednesday, Oman went ahead through goals from Ahmed Said and Khalid Juma and was leading 2-0 at halftime. However, the visiting team captain, Shajeeh Ahmad, scored a brace and goals from Shan Irshad and Samiullah sealed the win.
